Bringing Purpose and Profit to co-exist in harmony

STEP TWO. Bringing Purpose and Profit to co-exist in harmony

STEP TWO. Bringing Purpose and Profit to co-exist in harmony

Purpose and Profit co-existing together in harmony, can be the actual difference between someone as an entrepreneur, having the first three to five years as struggle-street or not. This is not just for those in business already, for those who wish to turn their passion to profit, imagine knowing what you needed to know before you left your job, the steps you needed to take to start and create the right business with the right foundations.

An entrepreneur with 10+ years’ experience knows this, and can fast track this process for you. For myself, I’ve been an entrepreneur for 11 years, and I now know what you need to focus on and what makes the first three years of your success and how quickly you can get to this point and what this is; all of this is what I’ll be sharing with you today.

If you are a health coach, a yoga teacher, self-help coach, or consultant. The likelihood that your business is staying stagnant, or it’s a lot more stressful than it needs to be, is also because of the very things I’m going to be talking about with you today. No one told me this stuff and I really wish someone had, and I’m so passionate now about really sharing this with coaches, yoga teachers, whoever you are, if you’ve not yet started, or if you are in the first one, two, three, four, five years of your business, cause this is just going to change the game for you.

How are you feeling about hearing this today?

Before I had implemented in my business what I am speaking to today, this is what my business looked like... my calendar was really full. Who’s there, your calendar’s full, right? You might have lots of bookings of all these clients. You run off your feet trying to have all these clients, but you’re actually only making ends meet – financially. Now, even if you’re not in your own business, this could even look like that working in the job that you’re working in. All your time is spent working in this job, but really, at the end of the day, the amount of money that you’re making in that job is only making ends meet. This actually still applies to you. Because even with staying in a job, there’s still a certain psychology that keeps us in that job and in that way, and if we don’t apply what I’m talking to you about today, even if we were to start our own business, we’d actually take the dirty laundry of that psychology to our new job, and we’d just find ourselves in the exact same position. So I’ll share how to change this today.

So I was working with anyone. I didn’t really have this level of clarity over “this is my soulmate client,” right?

marketing and all my content, I was just talking to everyone. I wasn’t being very clear on who was my soulmate client. I was general. I was really afraid to put my prices up because my success up until that point had come on an unsustainable revenue model, which required a sacrifice of myself in order to get clients. So I was really afraid, but wait a second, I’ve got all my success in my business up until now. And this can happen when you’ve been in business for three, four years, and you’ve got all this success, and everyone loves benefitting from your being an over-giving shit collector, as my mentor likes to call it, right? So I was really afraid. Well shit, if I start prioritising me and putting my prices up and making this sustainable so that I don’t burn out in the long term, maybe I’ll lose all my clients. Maybe they won’t buy from me. And I was really afraid to do it differently, right? Who is there right now?

What do you think might have been playing out for me? What do you think were the feelings, the thoughts, the beliefs that could have been playing out for me? And if you are here – what are yours that play out? It might be that we lack trust in ourselves. We feel a bit insecure. We’re really lacking the clarity. We mightn’t even know what’s holding us back, it could even be we think this is the only way. We don’t know what to be focusing on and haven’t learned how to run and build a business, potentially, for some people. We might even be thinking that, no, this is the way it is. This is how business is, I’m too selfish if I’m going to increase my prices, or we have all these kinds of ideas about it.

When we’re in that position, we’ve only got two options:
1. Work more: One is we’ve only got, we can’t increase the time in our week. We are human, right. There are only so many hours in a week. And so we can’t increase the time in our week. We could start working more. That’s kind of our option one, work more to make more money. So maybe you try to work an extra two to five hours a week, or two to five hours a day, but we know that really, over time, that’s going to be unsustainable.

2. Increase prices: The only other option we’ve got is to increase our prices. Now, if we’ve been attracting clients up until that point, based on this type of inner psychology, then I can tell you that you’re not going to be able to increase your prices too much, maybe $50 or a hundred dollars. I don’t know, a thousand dollars, but even then, it’s not really good business, right? So at that point we have two choices and they’re not really that great, are they?

Not that sustainable, right? From here, you need to do 3 things to merge purpose and profit to co-exist in harmony.
