Nothing Will Ever Be Good Enough Syndrome

Too many of us have been deluded and caught in the trap that finally the “nothing will ever be good enough syndrome” will be fixed, resolved and healed, if we only keep buying into the idea that we need to prove we are worthy of love and enough in our pursuits of the external world. Only when we created a 6, 7 or 8-figure empire, only when we have found the one, only when... insert the blank.

This constant idea that we need to be and do more, where the certain ideal of the perfect woman or man as a status symbol is truly crippling our world today. I don’t wish to buy into it anymore. I encourage you not to as well. I learned that ultimately, underneath all of the striving, performing, pretending and over-working I was doing, was a belief that I wasn’t worthy of love. There was a hole within my heart that I tried to fill with external pursuits, that I learned could only ever be filled with my own love. I needed to start showing up to my business full on my own love, rather than looking to my business and the external world to fill me up with validation, love and approval.

When we have bought into this lie, we will often sacrifice our needs; we won’t get our needs met in the business financially, emotionally, spiritually or physically; we’ll be over-giving, pleasing others at the expense of ourselves, wearing an external mask of success and lacking the fulfilment and peace within. If you have any of this running, don’t worry, you are not alone, and I was completely in this same position. It’s nothing to be ashamed of. I think we have all been there as entrepreneurs, right?

We often start our mission with a sense of purpose and passion, and only when we get along that journey, do we start to realise that we can’t sustain the level of energy we have been putting into our business. This happens for a few reasons. Firstly, we love helping people, so we just want to give, give, give. We don’t put ourselves first, and ensure we have created a business that works for us too. Secondly, we under charge. We don’t know the business knowledge needed to first test whether the products and services we are creating are indeed both purposeful.

often don’t make a profit and only just break even. Thirdly, we feel selfish and greedy to ask for what we need. We look around to our environment and people around us and think, if we were to put ourselves as a priority in the business, we would lose clients and business, and so we stay stuck in what’s safe and comfortable.

That’s until I have written this book... See this book as the permission slip, to learn how to live in more integrity with yourself and your value, and start to build the empire that’s both purposeful and profitable, so you can stand the test of time, and be in business long enough, whereby you don’t burn out, and can be successful with creating the impact that you said you wanted to stand for at the beginning of the journey too!

This is what I teach you in my business school; how to show up to your business and be in this world, full on your own love, and truly stand in the belief and worthiness of knowing you are enough, you are worthy, and you are loveable, just the way you are, flaws and insecurities included. To build your empire from the inside out, is to align with your soul, to release any limiting beliefs that block you from who you authentically are, and what you are destined for. Yay, who’s excited to make a stand for this?
