Channelling The Soul of Your Business

Your business is a creative entity, a higher state of consciousness, that uses your senses as a vehicle to communicate a message. You have the eyes, ears, mouth, hands, feet, and physical body to be able to anchor its message into this 3D reality. It’s like a newborn baby, and you are its mother and father, that needs to stay devoted to it, especially in its first 9 months to 3 years. This will be when it requires your daily devotion, tending, commitment and love more than anything before it can walk on its own feet!

Can you start to see your business as a baby from here on? Maybe it would even help to draw your own cartoon of it, and put it on the wall like below, just for the reminder...

Can you see its adorable, cute, little vulnerable face looking up at you? Can you see how much it truly needs you! See how it’s completely reliant on you! That’s exactly what our business is. In the early stages, unless we realise we are a new parent, we might be a little flaky on the commitment and responsibility that a we-centric movement requires if you want to build an empire that shapes a better world. The best way I found I stopped this cycle, was to actually see my empire like the baby it was. I was the messenger of its higher consciousness, and I had to see it like a baby that needed to be fed and given water every day. Feeding it meant giving it consistent time, energy, and attention; posting daily content; showing up for sales calls when I didn’t feel like it; looking at the profit; and not making any spontaneous decisions to leave it and go on random vacations at the drop of a hat – depriving it of the attention, profit and activities that were going to give it what it needed to keep thriving!

Take a moment and reflect: have you been giving your business the time, attention, commitment, and most mature and responsible version of yourself daily?

The we-centric movement that you are choosing to stand for is a future destination in time and space, that you choose to move towards. In moving towards it, the business entity will speak to you, teach you, train you, shape you, and help you embody and model the leader you need to be, so that you can successfully be the change in the world.

One of my clients ran a course called Unhealing. She had been deep in the work for many years. This course was all about dealing with emotional overwhelm and boundaries. Whilst she had done a lot of work on this up until now, as soon as she  decided to run that course, in the weeks before the launch, the universe and the creative entity of the business took her through so many tests, trials and experiences so that she could become a deeper embodiment of the message. This is often how it works. Whatever we choose to teach, we have mastered and embodied it to a certain degree. But just by choosing to share the message more and more, our mastery of it, grows, evolves, deepens and becomes more embodied. This is the courage it takes to allow for yourself to channel the soul of your business in this way. You are opening yourself up to be transformed by the entity of that business, and everywhere that you are not living the message of what you are standing for, will be stripped, alchemised, and transformed into a higher state of consciousness so that you become it. Any resistance that you hold to this process, will be deeply painful – trust me!

When I went to launch Samantha J., it was in the middle of the pandemic. I had committed to the branding agency, and the process of putting all my work out into the world in a world- class way, and then everything went to shit. My photos and videos were rescheduled four times. I felt so much resistance to being transformed by the message. I was being asked to step into a deeper embodiment of what the message was. I felt imposter syndrome come up, I felt insecurity come up, I feel deep fears of being big and bright come up. I was afraid to be seen, I thought I would lose everything if I did it. I had to go through all of these experiences, and it ended up taking 6 months longer than I anticipated, because the creative entity of the business school had more to teach me before I could put it out into the world. I had to remain humble, surrender to the lessons, ask what the setbacks were teaching me that was positive for my future, and let go, and allow for all the places inside of me that had to alchemise into something new.

This is how business and spirituality come together as one in this way. Our empire is truly just a space, where we get to access higher states of consciousness, simply by choosing to be humble enough to be transformed by a we-centric movement vision, wishing to be in service to God or Spirit from within, and become someone we don’t truly know we will become by the end of the journey. When you open yourself up to the grace of God in this way, and make it not about you, but about that we-centric movement’s contribution, whilst having your needs met in the centre, the wildest miracles, synchronicities, and opportunities will come into your world. The universe rewards good people who have their heart in the right place, who want to help others – it’s just important you don’t sacrifice your own needs along the way. This new era of business is about learning to discover the spiritual in the material, and to keep that spiritual connection as the material parts of life grow, such as having more power, social status, fame, success and money. This is really what this is about.

Reflection questions...

  • How old is your empire baby?
  • What stage of her/his development is it in? Is it walking yet?
  • What does she/he need each day? How does she/he wish to be fed and watered each day?
  • Where can you be more mature, responsible and committed to her/him?
  • What do you need to stop doing, to show more devotion to her/him?
  • Where do you need to grow up and become who you were born to be, so she/he has a more reliable parent?
